Customers walk into a finished retail space and either trust the brand or don’t. Misaligned tile, dim lighting at the cashwrap, or visible MEP overhead reads as cheap — even when the construction is technically clean. Retail build-outs need a contractor who treats finish quality as a critical-path item, not a punch-list item. Our documented retail work includes Divers Direct stores totaling 49,500 sq ft and $9M+ across Dania Beach, Orlando, and Key West; River Street Sweets in Key West (7,844 sq ft); and Earthbound Trading Co. interior remodel. Can you do multi-location rollouts?
Yes. Our Divers Direct portfolio was a multi-location program across Dania Beach, Orlando, and Key West. Multi-location rollouts benefit from a single GC who learns the brand once.
What about specialty retail with custom millwork?
Custom millwork is a regular part of retail build-outs. We coordinate through millwork shops we’ve worked with on prior projects; lead time on custom millwork drives the schedule.
Do you handle the lighting design execution?
Lighting design is usually the architect or a specialty lighting designer; execution and commissioning are ours. Retail lighting is finish-critical — we treat it that way.
Can you build out a space in a mall or shopping center?
Yes. Mall and shopping-center TIs add landlord coordination, mall management approvals, and after-hours work requirements. Standard part of the workflow.
What about fire-suppression for retail with sprinkler systems?
Coordinated with the building’s base sprinkler system. Layout-change modifications are common in retail TIs and require fire-marshal sign-off on the modified plan.
