Commercial Storm Damage Restoration — Get Back to Revenue Faster

Restoration GC for office, retail, multi-tenant, medical, and light industrial property losses across Southwest Florida. Phased schedules built around occupancy and revenue priorities.

When the building has to keep operating

Commercial losses are scored on downtime, not just damage

A storm closes a retail center for a week and the tenants stop paying. Close a medical office for a month and patients move to a competitor. Commercial storm restoration is as much about phasing as it is about repair — which tenants need to stay open, which units come back online first, when after-hours work is mandatory. We scope commercial losses to balance carrier requirements with operational continuity. The carrier sees a defensible Xactimate scope; the owner sees a phased schedule that protects revenue while the rebuild happens.

Commercial storm damage restoration scope

  • Multi-building damage assessment with photo documentation per unit/tenant
  • Xactimate commercial-rate scoping with phased line items
  • Tenant continuity planning: temporary partitions, after-hours work, dust control
  • Roof, exterior envelope, and structural commercial repairs
  • Interior reconstruction across multiple tenant spaces
  • Coordination with property management, tenants, and insurance carrier
  • Permitting and inspection coordination with municipal building departments
  • Business interruption documentation handoff for the carrier’s BI adjuster
  • Phased substantial completion to restore revenue ahead of full project close

Commercial storm restoration — common questions

  • Can you do work after hours so we stay open?

Yes. Most retail and office restoration is sequenced to protect operating hours — overnight work, weekend pours, and temporary partitions are standard tools. After-hours premiums are scoped up front and aligned with the carrier.

  • How do you handle multiple tenants under one roof?

Per-unit damage documentation, per-unit scope, and per-unit substantial completion certificates. Property manager gets a master schedule; each tenant gets visibility into their unit only.

  • My business interruption claim is separate. Do you help with that?

We provide the schedule, downtime estimates, and substantial completion dates the BI adjuster needs. We don’t prepare or argue the BI claim — that’s typically the owner’s accounting team or a public adjuster.

  • What about restoration on medical or food-service spaces?

Both have additional regulatory requirements (Department of Health, food-service inspection). We coordinate the additional inspections and document compliance for your file.

  • Do you carry the right insurance and bonding for commercial work?

Yes — general liability and workers’ comp matched to commercial GC requirements, with bonding capacity sized to the project. Certificates provided before contract.
