Kitchen Remodeler — Cabinetry, Countertops, and a Layout That Actually Works
Full kitchen remodels for SWFL homeowners — cabinetry coordination, countertop fabrication, appliance install, and the structural and MEP changes that come with moving walls.
Kitchen remodels live or die on cabinet lead time and countertop templating
Owners come in thinking the kitchen is about countertops and cabinets — and they’re half right. The other half is plumbing relocation, electrical for new appliances, structural changes when you remove a wall, and the cabinet lead time that drives the whole schedule. Custom cabinets are 10-16 weeks from order. Countertop templating happens after cabinets are installed, and fabrication is another 2-3 weeks. A six-week kitchen remodel is a fantasy if you’re changing the layout. We scope the realistic schedule, manage the lead times, and keep one bathroom and a microwave functional throughout.

Kitchen remodeling — common questions
How long does a kitchen remodel take?
8-14 weeks active construction once cabinets are on site. Add 10-16 weeks for cabinet lead time before construction starts. Total elapsed time is usually 4-6 months from design start to commissioning.
Can we cook during the remodel?
We set up a temporary kitchenette — microwave, toaster oven, mini fridge, often the existing range moved to the garage. It’s rustic but workable. Most owners cook through it.
Do you use your own cabinet line, or can I bring my own?
Either. We work with several Florida cabinet vendors we trust on lead times and install quality. You can also bring your own selection — we’ll coordinate.
Granite, quartz, or something else for countertops?
Personal preference and lifestyle. Quartz is low-maintenance and dominant in current installs. Granite has the natural-stone look. Marble is beautiful and stains — kids and dogs argue against it. We’ll show you samples and pricing.
Do I need a permit for a kitchen remodel?
Yes for anything beyond cosmetic — electrical changes, plumbing relocations, structural changes all require permits. We pull and coordinate inspections.
What about removing a wall to open the kitchen?
Common ask. If the wall is load-bearing, a header and posts replace it; we coordinate structural with an engineer when required. Floor plan opens up; budget goes up by $10K-$25K depending on conditions.
